Bus Tour to Fergus Falls – See Historical Buildings and Shoot for HDR for just $99!
It is finally happening people! TCPG is hitting the road! We are going on a field trip!
We will be boarding a bus to head north for a full day of photographing the historic sights of Fergus Falls, MN! Dave Parker and a few other assistants will be on hand to provide you instructions in HDR and architectural shooting throughout the day.
If the beauty of these buildings isn’t enough to inspire you to create some timeless and powerful images, the unusual architectural curves, enormous size and intriguing photographic angles of the RTC building makes it the perfect subject! You can also create incredible digital backgrounds to be used in your portrait shooting. Compositing has become a popular trend in fashion and senior photography. This is your chance to create some fabulously unique HDR digital backgrounds that will help define your signature as a photographer and thrill your customers.
The bus leaves promptly at 8 a.m. from the Roseville Park and Ride (Cleveland Avenue north of County Road C (Google Map: Hwy 35W & CR C P&R @45.024170,-93.185066)). The buildings are in secluded areas there will be times where no food will be available.
At noon, we will go on a tour of the beautiful and historic Fergus Falls Regional Treatment Center. Built in 1906 and based on a model developed by Dr. Thomas Kirkbride, it features an impressive main structure with curving wings and an expansive campus. The group will be split up into two separate groups, and will switch tour guides halfway through the tour to see the other parts of the building.
