In this special Civil War Sesquicentennial event, check out interactive learning stations about the fort’s important role in the debate over slavery, the lives of Minnesota’s soldiers and civilians, and much more! Costumed staff and reenactors bring the fort to life with musket and cannon firings, 1860s cooking, and demonstrations of life in 1860s Minnesota.
