Title: Photographing Dancers
Description: We will be shooting 3 professional dancers (1 per bay). Cary will help you with lighting and give a brief lecture with shooting tips for shooting dance. The dancers will also give pointers on what is technically correct and pleasing with regard to dance positions. Each participant will get a chance to shoot all 3 dancers and the wardrobe will include traditional ballet and modern ballet. Make sure you bring a lens that will allow you to shoot full body images without significant distortion. Something in the 50mm range would be a good choice.
The dancers are members of the Cities Classical Dance Ensemble (www.citiesclassicaldanceensemble.com)
