Are you ready for a wolf adventure? Why should our kids have all the fun? This is an overnight slumber party for us adults at the wolf center filled with lectures, shooting time and photo sharing. If you don't want to stay at the center there are nearby hotels in the area you can book.
Arrive: Friday anytime to enter the center and explore.
Friday Program Begins 3Pm
3 pm – overview of Night Sky Photography lecture in the classroom
5 pm – Dinner on your own
7:30 pm – Gather for Night Sky Photo shoot at IWC. Carpool from there.
Sunset is at 7:49 pm. Photograph the sunset.
Evening until done – Night Sky Photos
Back to the center to sleeping bags out. Photo sharing.
6:47 am ( sunrise around 6:31 am) Rise to photograph wolves move sleeping bags air matresses into classroom
8 am – Breakfast on your own
10 – 12 photograph wolves through the observation window at the center. Learn about wolf behavior, when not photographing
noon – lunch on your own
1 – 3 – photograph Kawishiwi Falls, area photographs
3 – 6 – Photograph wolves at center through the observation center windows.
4:30 pm – Dinner on your own
7 pm - at the center is the What’s for Dinner program. Listen to program as to how wolves hunt as a social pack. Photograph wolves eating.
8:15 pm –Night Sky Photography
?? Back to center Get out bed rolls, mattresses share photos
6:30 am or your choice – rise for photograph opportunities with the wolves ( and ravens?). ( Sunrise is at 6:29 am)
8:00 am -Take care of bed rolls. Wrap up of weekend.
Breakfast on your own – Center is open from 10 – 2 on Sunday. You are welcome to stay for photos.
What to Bring: consider this an indoor camping trip.
